JORDAN VOGT-ROBERTS AND HIS INNOVATIVE VISION

Jordan Vogt-Roberts is an American television and film director who is known for directing several series and films such as The Kings of Summer and Kong: Skull Island. He was born on 22nd September 1984 in the United States. He grew up in the Greater Detroit Area and moved to Arizona when he was 14.
However, during his senior year, he came back to his Royal Oak Michigan for graduating with his friends. He has completed his education from Dondero High School and Columbia College, Chicago. He started his career producing and directing two web series Book Club and Memoirs of a Manchild. He is also the director of most of the episodes of the series Single Dads.
He used his inventive minds and converted an episode of the series Memoirs of a manchild into a short film named Mint in a Box. A year later, he wrote and directed another short movie Successful Alcoholics that was screened at over thirty film festivals, including AFI Fest, SXSW Fest, and Sundance Film Festival.
Vogt-Roberts has directed the episodes for several series, including Funny or Die Presents, Mash Up, Death Valley, You’re the Worst, and also the pilot of The Walking Dead: World Beyond.
He made his debut in feature films with The Kings of Summer that was premiered in the Sundance Film Festival. This comedy-drama was also screened in the Dallas International Film Festival where it won the Narrative Feature Audience Award.
He has directed a monster movie Kong: Skull Island that made a collection of $565 million globally. He is also the director of Nick Offerman: American Ham, a comedy film written by American actor Nick Offerman.
Vogt-Roberts is now directing a movie based on action-adventure video game series, Metal Gear. He has even met Hideo Kojima, the game creator to discuss the making of the film, he has recounted this meeting in several interviews.
